Mindoro West Coast Road Improvement Project Contract Package VI, Mamburao-Abra de Ilog Section under the Arterial Road Improvement Project was completed last 15 September 2005.
Project was financially assisted by Japan Bank for International Cooperation and implemented by the Project Management Office and owned by the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Mamburao-Abra de Ilog Road has a total length of 37.44kms. and with eleven (11 bridges for replacement with a total length of 378m.
The improvement and construction of this road started in the 80’s but all section was seriously damaged by floods, scouring embankment, slope failures and degradation of river deposits. But with the National Government continuous effort to provide National roads, Mamburao-Abra de Ilog has now its main road in full link and helpful to its community.
